The Deutsches Hygiene-Museum is well worth a visit if you pass through Dresden.
1. Great temporary exhibition on mental health, worth entry fee alone.
2. Interesting permanent exhibitions, acknowledging also its own history and role in National Socialist ideology.
3. Spotlessly clean toilets.

It's this kind of chance find that #NotFlying / travelling by #EuropeanRail makes possible.

Hello again the European Sleeper train, this time from Rotterdam to Dresden.
I love these trains, it's no frills travel in the good sense. The byproduct is that strangers are allowed to talk to one another.

All aboard the SJ #EuroNight from Berlin to Stockholm, which departed its first station 40 minutes late.
Annoying to sit on a cold Hbf platform for in total an hour, but unlikely actually to affect arrival in Stockholm.
More unfortunate was the emergency brake activation that stopped the train within a minute of it rolling out. Soon under way again, though.

All aboard the #EuropeanSleeper from Rotterdam to Berlin, which arrived on time from Brussels/Antwerp.
I'm trying their new type of berth, they call it Comfort Standard. It's basically a 5-person couchette compartment made up instead with proper mattress bunks for max 3 people. Everyone has a seat and also a bed, with no folding down/away needed.

Sundogs are not easy to photograph, so please imagine two duplicate rainbow fringed blobs, like less bright suns; one 22° left of the setting sun, and one 22° to its right.

After a Night of Flight-Free Adventure (travel inspiration as fundraiser for the charity Flight Free UK), #WalesToSweden chuffed (electrically) on to Harwich and now takes a day ferry to Hoek van Holland.
Day ferries and night trains complement each other really well. You have time to sleep, work, or window stare on at least one.

The next round of #NotFlying #WalesToSweden has kicked off with its first pit stop at Bara, the cafe bringing Wales to Peckham.
