Was lucky enough to start a conversation with Abraham Karaka, #Maori #activist and part of the #artists for #Waiapu action collective. What a fascinating history the Waiapu #river has, and how the history of the river has been beautifully documented since the 1920s.

Definitely worth a visit to #Meanjin (#Brisbane). Make sure you give yourself several hours to soak it all in.
