Refinements made to the CAD for #WagonCam body - and reprinted in colour.
Thinking the next development of #WagonCam could be a working scale model of 153376/VIU2 inspection train.
@themagpi Raspberry Pi Zero based #WagonCam now fully operational. Sending back video of the model rail layout via WiFi. #MagPiMonday
First images of my model railway tunnel interior are in from #WagonCam, powered by a #raspberrypi Zero with MotionEyeOS.
I think I may be getting carried away with the cosmetic exterior detailing of #WagonCam. I've even worked out a way to do radius window surrounds and recessed grab handles in #tinkercad. #CAD #3dprint #TMRGUK
@themagpi My model railway #WagonCam is starting to take shape. Mounted on a Hornby chassis, the bespoke 3D printed body-shell holds a #raspberrypi Zero, with camera, running MotionEyeOS. Rechargeable LiPo battery power, via #Adafruit PowerBoost, fitted under the roof. Wiring next. #MagPiMonday
I'm going to be test printing some louvres as part of #WagonCam - just to see how well they work.
A bit more work on the base and body of #WagonCam, designed to fit on a spare Hornby chassis. Plenty of room inside for my #raspberrypi Zero, camera, LiPo battery and the Adafruit Powerboost I've got on order. Test printing this evening, I'll work out the top after that.
