I’m going to use #Wordpress as my main account for now, but I’m probably going to cross-post to #Wafrn too. I went with WordPress/Friends because it was easier and cheaper (I’d have had to pay for a VPS), but I really like being able to talk to people in the #Fediverse and #Bluesky at the same time.

Might as well run a Wafrn instance instead, since is communicates with BSky and the Fediverse and has a strict no-AI policy. If you hosted a BSky instance, you'd be running decently slopcoded software, unfortunately.

Also, I'm trying to use tags as much as possible because Fediverse and all, but I can't help feeling… inauthentic(?) when I use them. I guess I associate them with trying to self-promote somehow, so I feel like the most mundane post comes off as a marketing ploy lmao

heads up to anyone connected to the Wafrn IRC (or interested in it!)

https://halloy.chat released an update today that lets you reply to messages and set metadata! this includes stuff like pronouns and avatars :)

We hope this can arrive in the webclient soon, too!
