My wife has been a fan of the #WacoBrothers for 20 years, but they never come to Baltimore, so we made plans to fly out to Chicago for their annual Christmas show at Schuba’s Tavern, spend the night in Chicago, and fly back. We haven’t flown in the pandemic, and don’t normally do this kind of thing anyway, but then… #SouthWestAir canceled our flights.

So I drove us 11 hours each way to spend one night in Chicago at a show in a tiny venue.

And it was so worth it!
