Yesterday I spend a day trying to hack this WYSE WT3235LE terminal.

It has a cool GEODE GX1 CPU!

I was able to push some binary to the system. One version even did a beep via pc speaker!

There is so little information on the internet about it that it is a lot of try-and-error.

Will be back to this in the future.

Yesterday's shower thought, join my two null modem cables together with some pin headers and it turns out that almost works.

I'm receiving output from the #Brocade switch. I haven't been able to send anything yet.

Also my #wyse 5070 has the optional RS-232 serial port. Since these are so small and use little power, they're almost as good as a laptop, especially where connecting over SSH is an option.

Further adventures in #cyberdeck configuration:

I've replaced the #wyse 3040 with the wyse 5070. It's a lot faster, and 8GB of storage just wasn't enough space to work with. There are also enough USB ports for peripherals.

The current configuration also has two Ethernet ports, one of which is 2.5Gb.

I'm currently theming #sway and making some progress getting it to behave like I'd want.
The amount of gorilla tape on this thing makes it look interesting. I won't be taking this to the airport.
