Tom ForresterI suppose the silver lining to WWE running such a lacklustre Rumble, is that I don’t have to feel guilty for enjoying a show run by a despotic regime…and I don’t just mean Saudi Arabia.
In a medium where you can - arguably should - create any nonsensical bollocks you want, it’s astounding that HHH insists on playing it so safe (predictable). Worryingly, his booking seems to be getting more Vinceian by the week. Royal Fumble, indeed.
Royal Rumble snap-verdict: meh. Few genuine surprises, predictable match outcomes and the usual suspects dominating the finish. Disappointing.
