May 7th Is World Wide Day of Genital Autonomy.
A day to raise awareness of a human right that is frequently violated in the western world through male circumcision and intersex 'normalization' surgeries. Also, while no longer widely practiced there are still over 500 thousand victims of FGM in the US with extremely few avenues for support since their battle is often thought as 'won'. There's similar disenfranchisement of the grief of everyone who has experienced child genital cutting including an *incorrect* association with the manosphere/faschosphere.
I host two explicitly intersectional support groups on discord, one for the intersection (violated) genital autonomy and trans, intersex, and gender diverse peoples. I also host a support group for other marginalized allies in the same vein. You can access these at our work in progress website. It's currently at 19 PT on Tuesdays.

The Genital Autonomy Collective is a peer network of support groups and advocates for intersectional genital autonomy. Our main focus is providing support and community for the intersection of violated genital autonomy and marginalized peoples, and their (affected) allies.
Vom 3. bis 7. Mai fanden unterschiedliche Aktionen zum Worldwide Day of Genital Autonomy 2023 statt. Gemäß dem diesjährigen Schwerpunktthema "Genitale Selbstbestimmung in der Kunst" war der Kreativ-Anteil in diesem Jahr bemerkenswert hoch. Eva Matthes reiste nach München, Wien und Köln und nahm einige Eindrücke mit.
Der Jahrestag des Kölner "Beschneidungsurteils" wird am 7. Mai erneut als "Weltweiter Tag der Genitalen Selbstbestimmung" (Worldwide Day of Genital Autonomy – WWDOGA) gefeiert. Den Aufruf dieses internationalen Bündnisses unterstützen über 80 Kinder-, Menschen- und Frauenrechtsorganisationen aus 15 Ländern und fünf Kontinenten.
