I have heard "which is the first step in rulemaking as required under Washington State law" so many times now.

Also, poor Daniel. Apparently we don't have a full board so… the *petitions* are being postponed, but the #WSLCB prohibited conduct rulemaking is going ahead.

Let's get WAC 314-11-050 off the books!

Back to watching a #WSLCB meeting. Discussion is open on how to address the Prohibited Conduct action. The board is divided about whether or not they should just get rid of it entirely with no replacement language.

Vollendroff noted that, after looking at other states' rules, he was leaning towards just rescinding it entirely.

The #WSLCB received 6 petitions to repeal the lewd conduct rule last week; we're now getting an update on this from the rules coordinator.

Public comments will be available if the petitions are accepted; we'll know next week.

And Commissioner Garrett brings up the important point that they need to evaluate _all_ biases.

We know that it's not just uneven enforcement on gay bars.

From this morning's #WSLCB meeting:
Chandra has confirmed that the photos will be redacted before release (so, sounds like they'll be releasing them.)
They're continuing with community outreach & discussion.
