Amanda HickieFirst time I've spun in over thirty years. Bought some fleece because I thought I should start spinning again or give away my wheel.
I got carried away with all the colours. I planned to only use this orange as highlights so I thought it didn't matter if I wasted some of it on practice. I genuinely didn't think I'd be able to knit it up!
So happy with the result, I've even started planning a blanket around my practice yarns.
Any hints and tips welcome. I'm spinning on an old Ashford traditional. I thought I had over spun the singles but maybe I under spun them?
Sand Hill ThicketI'm thinking of making a spiral sweater out of Orca's baby #fleece. 🤔 Not quite sure what pattern the different color yarns should go in. There would be a little white, lots of grays, and some black as I want to keep them separate and not blend them together.
