WASHINGTON - A Mississippi man has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges related to his alleged conduct during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
This apparently was a pattern of behavior for #BarbieBassett. She called another Black coworker's grandma "grandmammy", a term used by slaves. And who knows what her coworkers have been telling HR about her for all these years. 🤷🏿♀️
Mind you, this is #Mississippi. More likely than not, they've intentionally overlooked 'things like this' from her for a long time before now. Either she didn't know or didn't care that the "my nizzle" part is slang for "my n*gg*). 🤷🏿♀️ #wlbt #racism
