Quite an honor at #WLA Conference in Wenatchee, & an amazing experience to be around so many incredible #librarians & #teacherlibrarians from all over Washington State.

Even though I left Evergreen after all these years, & I’m very disappointed in the district’s leadership, I will forever be grateful to my colleagues and friends at Shahala Middle School who nominated me for Secondary Middle School Librarian of the Year at a time when I truly needed a boost of confidence, appreciation, and hope.
