The label "Blue Moon" can have a few different meanings.
The most common is when there is a second full moon within a calendar month. We had a full moon on May 1st, so the one tomorrow on the 31st is a Blue Moon. Happens about once a year.

Another interpretation is when there are two full moons in a row within the same sign of the zodiac. This won't happen until May 20th of 2027, which will be the second full moon in the sign of Scorpio. Happens about every two years.

Yet another interpretation is that it is the 4th full moon in a quarter year, (one astrological season, from solstice to equinox or vice versa) since there's usually only 3. This would be the full moon on June 18th, 2027, just days before the solstice on the 21st. Happens about every three years.
