#WIPWednesday Over 40K this week in the #WIP The Warder, the final book in the Rifters series. Definitely in the home stretch. Hoping work doesn't go Colin Robinson on me this week. How's your WIP?

Still knitting the same pair of socks.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather the last few days, so not a lot of progress. But a long weekend is ahead and quite a bit of traveling again.

#WIPWednesday #IMadeThis Stardust is finally ready for the stars.
The kitchen drawer situation has been 'almost fixed' for three weeks. Technically still in progress. #wipwednesday

This week for #WIPWednesday I am in about the same place as last week with a tale of woe about #knitting going backwards.

I got a number of decreases on the first sleeve done before stopping to look at the jumper properly and noticing it looked wonky. I’d missed an instruction to move the marker round a few stitches at the end of the colourwork so the decreases would fall directly under the arm. So the decreases (kind of like the underarm seam) were offset towards the back of the jumper and it looked a bit odd and would probably feel odd to wear.

I’ve stuck with enough knitting mistakes in the past to have learnt that it’s better to stop and fix it than put all your effort into something you end up disliking. Time to rip back.

I threaded a line through a round of stitches just after the colourwork (as I didn’t want to risk messing that up) then ripped the work out and picked up the stitches again. It took a while but I got there in the end. Hopefully this time I get it right!

For #WIPWednesday I have:
* I made good progress on the very orange Galice summer top. One side finished and the other up to the neck opening. I'll have more than enough yarn. So I can start thinking of another small orange project.
* Steady going on the waffle sweater. About 50.000 stitches done and not yet halfway in.
* First bobbin of the next batch of the 4-ply sweater spin done. My box of floof is empty, but spring weather is coming for outdoors combing.

I've had quite a long break from #gamedev but joining the Practice Lab from #CodeMonkey has got me back into it! I'm currently working on implementing a save system for his little city builder scene. #WIPWednesday #unity
