Olu was in the kitchen with Lucius and Roach. Lucius was putting food away while Roach washed dishes.
"Your boss is a fucking asshole," Izzy declared to the room at large as he stomped over to the slops bucket to scrape the leftovers off Stede's plate.
"Oh, you're saying that like it's something new, you're so cute." Lucius wiped his hands clean and took over scraping before Izzy broke the plate.
I don't have anything for #WIPpiesWednesday and y'all pretty much covered everything for #ThirstyThursday BUT there's one I haven't seen a lot and it's one of the OFMD fics that I keep going back to read over and over again. I've no idea why I love it, it's not usually my bag; it's set post-reunion and basically Stede knocks Ed up and they're both too dumb to notice for like 5 months. So well-written and hot.
I wanna write but I am EXHAUSTED. So, here's a little teensy piece of dialogue from something I've been rotating for a while for #WIPpiesWednesday:
"Yes. Yes, she is absolutely a mermaid. Mermaids are green. Everyone knows that. Right? We are all in agreement that mermaids are green."
Okay, I got more of a response than I was expecting so have another snippet of the main ship in the story, Lucius/Izzy, so you have a better idea of what to expect. π
This is the first fic I'm working on in the OFMD fandom. No idea when I'll finish it but I'm having a blast working on it. π
