Our club's first foray into Winter Field Day was when SPAR still ran it, and the exchange still included the current temperature.

I remember we were operating outside at a county park, with some tarps strung up to lessen the wind. At roughly 23:00 local, the temperature was 23F, and the electric space heater was just good enough to take the edge off if you rested your hands directly on it.
