I secretly started this internal #software project ~6 months ago. It obvs had to have a name, but I've always hated what I came up with bc it is bland and doesn't cover most of the interesting part about it.
Two weeks ago, an #engineering project manager succumbed to my/our pressure to propose this as a project to the sponsor. We worked on a design I could have done by September (95% of that code is already written, but he doesn't have to know that).
Today the PM thinks I'm showing slides with some concepts and visions. It's actually going to be a live demo.
But I still hated the name. And I was dreading telling it to people, because that would cement it.
Yesterday in the shower I thought of the perfect name. I just renamed the main script and changed all the internal variables to erase all trace of the original. (#wcgw)
It's seriously an hilarious pun that unfortunately I can't explain here. But it fits with a larger project it is part of plus two other side scripts with puns in the same....pun parameter space?
