Der #Welt-#Braille-#Tag wurde im Jahr 2001 von der #Weltblindenuninon (#WBU) #initiiert. Der Tag findet am #Geburtstag von #LouisBraille, dem #Erfinder der #Brailleschrift, am 4. Januar statt. Der Welt-Braille-Tag soll vor allem die #Bedeutung der Brailleschrift für #sehbehinderte #Menschen hervorheben.
