It’s been a little while since my last post. So finally have a Technics SL1210 Mk2 from MasterSounds and now fitted with an Ortofon 2M Red and using a Teac TA-TS30UN platter mat.

This then feeds into my Graham Slee Communicator Gram Amp 2 and then to a Graham Slee Novo Headphone Amp.

Stripped last year's bargain Telecaster kit guitar right down as am fitting a new bridge with better compensated saddles. Obviously didn't need to do that but noticed I still had half a jar of Lord Sheraton Caretaker wood balsam and polish left over. Beeswax, linseed oil and pine turpentine mix and BOY is that pine turps stinky! Went over to a mate who has a large outside garage and slapped loads on, three or four times. Fabulous result!
