Nereus

As the storm cleared at sunrise, a narrow break in the clouds briefly illuminated a perfectly formed wave breaking over the reef.

Black hole's 'point of no escape' studied with the loudest gravitational waves ever heard

The loudest crash of gravitational waves ever heard provides an intriguing way of studying event horizons, the boundaries at which nothing can escape the grip of these cosmic titans.

We meet like light through morning trees,
no rush, no need, just gentle ease,
a quiet truth the heart can hear,
soft as breath when you are near.

No grand display, no burning flame,
just steady warmth that stays the same,
like sky that holds both night and day—
and never asks us to walk away.

Verweven in waves.
