Volunteers from the Westport Astronomical Society will set up an assortment of telescopes, guiding you through breathtaking celestial sights—all from the stunning backdrop of Aquila’s Nest Vineyards. 🍷 Sip & Stargaze Did you know that every Aquila’s Nest Vineyards wine is inspired by a constellation? Pair your stargazing adventure with fine wine or a non-alcoholic beverage as you explore the mysteries of the universe. Event Details •All Ages Welcome! Secure tickets for attendees aged 3 and older. •Arrival Time: Please arrive by 6:30 PM to check in, get seated, and order your drink before darkness falls. •Tickets: 100% of ticket sales support the Westport Astronomical Society. •Beverage Requirement: A minimum drink purchase of $10 plus tax & gratuity per participant is required. Wine is not included in the ticket. •Farm Winery Policy: No outside beverages, including water bottles, are permitted. Bags and coolers may be checked by staff. Explore the mysteries of the universe during a Dark Sky Telescopes and Stargazing Star Party, hosted only twice a year in the vineyard. The volunteers from the Westport Astronomical Society will be bringing their assortment of telescopes to view the heaven's from our vineyard. Spot Saturn, Jupiter, the Moon and Orion Nebula, but not only and enjoy a night under the stars with fine wine and your universe. Cloud/Rain/Snow Date : TBD This event is open to all ages. Please secure tickets for all attendees aged 3 and older. Please arrive by 6:30pm to get seated and order your drink before the event starts once it gets dark. Wine is not included in the ticket. A drink purchase of minimum $10 plus tax and gratuity per participant is required to attend this event and can be made at the vineyard prior to the start of the event, after our staff checks your ID. Aquila's Nest has many non-alcoholic options as well. Outside Alcohol Beverages, Water Bottles or Any Other Beverages are NOT allowed to be brought in the premises of the vineyard. The #WASAwayTeam is spreading out to see the #eclipse! The Westport Astronomical Society members are flying high-altitude balloons into totality with a grant from #NASA, another is flying his private plane down the path of #totality, and others are headed to Maine, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire as clouds in Texas forced many to change their plans.
