@matdevdug

Read your post. #Trump and the #FCC are trying to censor the news, but we're not at Pyongyang Times levels of media freedom. #WaPo editorials are awful now, but #NYT and local news is great.

Also... "To thrive in #capitalism one must be amoral. Now you can be wildly sickeningly successful with morals but you cannot reach that absolute zenith of shareholder value." IMO those sentences contradict each-other pretty directly. Being wildly successful isn't "thriving"?

@ELS @benroyce I definitely do not miss #WaPo since I cancelled my subscription.
@paulschoe And that changes the fact the Bezos owned #WaPo printed it?

@peter the #WaPo phrasing it as “the U.S. military leveraged the most advanced artificial intelligence it’s ever used in warfare” is offensive laundering #ai operator’s bullshit about their tech. Anyone familiar with these tools understands that while they may seem useful and quick, they are incredibly inaccurate, absurd, and utterly incorrect for even basic tasks, such as counting the number of r’s in “strawberry” or determining the current date. Deploying them for anything beyond hobby projects is reckless and, in this instance, a war crime.

Also the republicans blocked a senate resolution to force pedo rapist #Trump to end #Iran strikes, which makes them complicit with Christian nationalist #Hegseth personally.

Enough said!
