Spring Cleanup – or: How the Puppet Forge Algorithm Canceled Us
A module runs stably and does its job. But Puppet Forge’s internal filter only considers the time since the last update. Our #VoxPupuli #puppet-checkmk module disappeared from the results.

So we rolled up our sleeves and gave the module a thorough cleanup. The module is now fully visible again, freshly tested, and ready for use.

Check it out, give it a try, and leave some feedback.

Reinschauen, ausprobieren, Feedback dalassen.

Did you know that you don't need #Puppet's #PDK to run all the tests in the #VoxPupuli #DevKit? Just let Jig build your module and run `bundle exec rake test`. https://docs.openvoxproject.org/ecosystem/latest/devkit/unit_testing.html

Looking for a #PDK alternative? It's a little known secret that most of its functionality was implemented by #VoxPupuli tooling vendored in under the hood. Everything the PDK did --and more--- can also be done without it. Read more about the #OpenVox #DevKit https://docs.openvoxproject.org/ecosystem/latest/devkit/index.html

Documentation. Some people love it, some hate it. But many people need it. Community is working on the documentation. The new documentation can be found at https://docs.openvoxproject.org and is based on Puppet Version 5.4 as this was the last documentation with free license.

If you encounter any issues, please open an issue at https://github.com/openvoxproject/openvox-docs/issues.

Besides this the community is looking for people to collaborate on good documentation.
