Women's #suffrage was legalized nationally by means of the #19A only in 1920.

The 3 #ReconstructionAmendments, #13A-#15A, were passed from 1866-1870. Then, in theory, all black men had the right to vote πŸ—³. It took until #LBS's #VotingRightsActs to seriously eliminate the disenfranchising #JimCrowLaws in the #South.
