DeeGeeI am a progressive Democrat and well to the left of Biden and Warnock overall. But I really want Warnock in the Senate and Biden to be reelected. Having a Democratic President and Senate majority means left-of-center court appointments. It also means that progressive policies will at least get a fair hearing and some even included in bills. If the GOP takes over, progressives get nothing. #VoteDems22
Also, ideology is important but it isn't everything. We should want an elected official who is an effective leader, is honest, empathetic and free of corruption, is responsive to the needs of their constituents, believes in and supports the common good. I think Warnock and Biden both have these qualities. #VoteDems22

Early in my pottery journey, I made this piece, 'election box'. It focused on corporate influence (hence the stock symbols as voting choices) on politicians and democracy and the rise of fascism.
Today I am thinking of women, the LGBTQ, and BIPOC community whose human rights literally hang in the balance. Please vote against hate and with them in mind.
