As I recently wrote to my idiot Senator, encouraging him to get behind #Biden: “If we lose this election, it won’t be because trump won. It will be because we [democrats] destroyed our best chance to save it.”
@[email protected] that’s the real problem, isn’t it. If they do field another candidate, the media will just start listing all THEIR flaws. They’ll be too young, or too inexperienced, or too “woke”, or gay, or a woman, or not Christian enough. Or too religious. Or (speaking from UK experience) they “ate a bacon sandwich wrong”. When in actual fact, people should be falling over themselves to vote for a wheel of cheese, if the other option is Trump And The End Of Democracy.
Just wrote to my idiot senator to express my thoughts about his comments on #Biden. If anyone else wants to write and encourage their congressperson to get behind Biden and stop being an idiot, but doesn’t know how to say it, I’d be happy to share my letter as a template. Just let me know.
