This species is called #Vortecc.
They are an eerie lot, specifically because of their limbs and their voices. They tend to remain rigid - though they can be very fast, like those big spiders being at a standstill forever until they run over your toes.

one more #sketch - species [#Vortecc] this time.
apparently I enjoy drawing tentacly content right now. well. *shrug*
[Vortecc] have "permanent" appendages. that's the tail and the three long "hair" on their head. but they can sprout many more on their back. a lot more..
aand I am unsatisfied how I did the tail. it's a pigment liner and ink sketch.. so no erasing 😭 thanks editor there is crop. maybe I'll show the full drawing later.
...and to reveal something normal too: their typical size is from 1,70 to 2 meters (~5,6 to 6.6 feet). yep, likely bigger than you.
oh and what does 5th nation mean?
the [#Araz] is a space federation, the biggest in my world, with nine members in total. the [#Vortecc] were the fifth to join, which is why they're dubbed the fifth ~
