This scene from a visit to Lanzarote's Jameos del Agua brought my mind to the one in Green Card where Andie MacDowell goes, No, not that plant -- the GREEN plant! Yes, it's a silly flick, but kinda sweet. Jameos del Agua are neither silly nor sweet, but impressive and wondrously beautiful. (The person in the picture wasn't harmed during my wait for the photo spot to get available, but that was just because there were witnesses ...)

Otherworldly rock formations at Sarakiniko Beach on Milos during dusk. The white volcanic rocks, sculpted by wind and water over time, have also earned it the nickname 'Moon Beach'. It’s one of Milos’ most popular spots, not only for its unique appearance but also for the cliffs that attract cliff jumpers.

As the sun begins to set, most of the crowds tend to leave. This, combined with the low-angle light then, that beautifully accentuates the textured surface of the rocks, makes the experience even more magical and immersive than during the day. Since our apartment was nearby, we ended up spending almost every sunset here during our stay on Milos – and it never got old!

As is almost customary in Iceland, this was quite the bumpy (but fun) ride to get to this wonderful location.
Haifoss offers incredible views of several waterfalls, but beware the small, small parking lot. I couldn't hike to the bottom but there are plenty of trails for another angle.
I spent a long time looking at layers upon layers of Icelandic geology staring at me from the other side of this abyss and that's what I tried to capture in the first image here.
