AGI - Un bambino di 12 anni è morto nel tardo pomeriggio a Bologna dopo essere precipitato nella tromba delle scale di un palazzo in via Piave. È accaduto poco prima delle 19 al civico 6, nella zona del Velodromo. Secondo una prima ricostruzione, il ragazzino si trovava all'ultimo piano dell'edificio insieme ad alcuni coetanei quando, durante un gioco, sarebbe scivolato su una lastra di plexiglas vicino a un lucernario.
Il materiale avrebbe ceduto sotto il suo peso, provocando la caduta nel vuoto per diversi metri. Inutili i tentativi dei presenti di trattenerlo e di chiedere aiuto. Immediato l'intervento della polizia, con pattuglie del commissariato Santa Viola e delle Volanti, insieme ai sanitari del 118.
Gli agenti stanno ascoltando i testimoni per chiarire con esattezza la dinamica, che al momento appare riconducibile a un tragico incidente. Sul posto anche la polizia Scientifica per i rilievi.
Il cordoglio del Sindaco Lepore
"Apprendiamo con dolore della tragica scomparsa di un bambino di 12 anni, precipitato dalle scale in via Piave. Ci stringiamo attorno al dolore della famiglia e degli amici. Come Comune di Bologna ci mettiamo a disposizione per ogni necessita'". Il sindaco della città emiliana, Matteo Lepore, esprime così il suo cordoglio per la tragica morte del giovane.

AGI - A 12-year-old boy died in the late afternoon in Bologna after falling into the stairwell of a building on Via Piave. This happened shortly before 7 pm at number 6, in the Velodromo area. According to a preliminary reconstruction, the boy was on the top floor of the building with several peers when, during a game, he slipped on a plexiglass panel near a skylight.
The material gave way under his weight, causing him to fall into the void for several meters. Attempts by those present to hold him back and ask for help were futile. The police immediately intervened, with patrols from the Santa Viola police station and the Volante patrol cars, along with paramedics from 118.
Officers are interviewing witnesses to clarify the exact dynamics, which currently appear to be attributable to a tragic accident. The Scientific Police also arrived on the scene for the investigations.

“We learn with grief of the tragic disappearance of a 12-year-old boy who fell from the stairs on Via Piave. We stand with the pain of the family and friends.
