First, there's no way to cancel online. A service that runs voice-over-IP doesn't have it in their system to allow people to cancel their service on their website. So, I called the support number to cancel. The phone tree was insane. I always take note of what I'm pushing when I go through a phone tree just in case I get disconnected. This is what I pushed to get to a human to cancel my service:
2-2-2-3-1-4-4-2
When I did get to a live human, I was hit with a barrage of questions about why I'm canceling, where am I going, was there anything they could do better, etc. Eventually I stopped being nice and told the person: Look, I'm here to cancel my service. Cancel it and stop asking me questions. They did.
