Deep inside the Rösselkärret nature reserve on Öland lie the remains of Österskogs ödeby, an abandoned village slowly disappearing back into the landscape.
Nature has reclaimed almost everything by now. Most ruins are hidden beneath trees, moss, and undergrowth. You can walk right past them without noticing.
