Cannot start a virtual machine

I installed an Virtual Maschine Manager but then got no connection to Qemu. I got the message that I should look, if an adequate libvirt daemon is running. What could I do? This is the full message:

#virtmanager

#linux #BSD #virtmanager

I search for a lot of Linux and BSD tech videos, lately on virt-manager networking.

A good amount of the more informative videos are non-English with English dubbing.

This is rather distracting at the least, and borderline annoying.

If the content is good, then the language spoken is not a problem.

I want to share management of existing #LXC #containers (that I handle with the command line tools) with other people who prefer to use GUIs… (oh, preferences…)

I'd rather not have to "convert" or "migrate" of whatever, but just have the GUI tools manage existing containers without screwing them up…

As I understand, at least #Proxmox will want to create them by itself so it's a no-go.

Anyone experiences with #libvirt / #virtManager can tell me if it's the same or not?
