Just finished VIOLENT NIGHT. Excellent. Doesn't take itself too seriously. Hilariously gory and over-the-top with some real, legitimate laughs (and shockingly touching moments). Very in the style of SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ.
My only minor complaint is it's a bit long, think they could've shortened it a little. But other than that, I think I have a new favorite holiday flick to watch! π
Plenty of people have played the role of Santa Claus before, but none quite like David Harbour's portrayal in "Violent Night," and he's pretty excited about that.
