OK so I just want to craft something using ingredients in a few chests. Oh but I should make an index of what chests have what ingredient and how much. Oh except I need a list of all the chests to find one to store the result in. But then I need to update the index for that item to increment the count for that chest, or add that chest. Oh and I need to decrement the count for all chests in the index for every ingredient being consumed. I should also store the request to craft that item in some kind of work order, maybe in another chest or a "job board." It'll have to remember nearby boards too though. And maybe have an index of boards by item being requested. Oh and can't forget about items that take time to craft, like smelting stuff in a furnace. How do you make derived classes in Lua again?

Anyway, on to the screencaps. These striated biomes are my bane. I can't figure out how to make them out of Voronoi cells, and the Luanti devs used two fractal noise thresholds, which doesn't work. Like you'd think if you varied heat and humidity randomly around the map, there would be patches of each biome, but instead there are long, pinchy stripes, like the biome is a piece of stretched out taffy, which looks frankly ridiculous.

Here for instance, humidity is relatively constant (low), so the biomes are shaped like levels on a mountain range, long stripes around the "mountain" so to speak. Since the slope is (randomly) very steep here, it goes from snow to desert stupidly quickly.

Still looking for people to play with and/or work on let's plays with, but I haven't given up posting screenshots yet! Not like I have anything better to do like actual gardening. ...

Anyway, thankfully this time I did remember to set my spawn and not dig up the bed that was there. The bad news is I died underwater, far off the coast, don't know what killed me, and now I have to figure out how to go retrieve my bones with no supplies or weaponry.

Also I respawned at a quarter health because a spotted rat spawned in this tiny building and is currently chewing on me.
