That Divinity trailer was really fucking messed up...  
Can't wait to play the game!  

The first Tomb Raider game getting *another* remake was surprising but it looks decently different that I might play it..again?  

Not so sure how Total War is going to work in space with Warhammer 40k but maybe they can make it work.

Watching the #videogameawards, I finally realized what bugs me about #hoyoverse style games - it's the overanimation of everything. It just strikes me that there is so much gesture by way of explosive animation filled with glitz and glamour that all of that feels unearned to me with what feels to me like relatively simplistic gameplay.

Mind, I definitely have my biases and am way too affected by my love for complexity and gaming Rube Goldberg machines. That said, I am very interested to know if anyone else feels at all similarly about the overanimation of that flavor of games.

EDIT: not an anti-anime screed, I'm a big fan of anime myself and there are plenty of great anime-styled or anime-adjacent games out there. It's just that Hoyo variety that weirds me out

Super happy that #HadesII got into the final list. I still think Clair Obscur cleans up here, but it's real nice to see Supergiant getting more props for what they've created with that masterpiece of a videogame.
