I fail to see how stopping prisoners from getting married protects the public, and I question the wisdom of allowing politicians to overrule #parole board decisions. If there is a "drift away from public protection" (#DominicRaab), surely there are evidence-based solutions that respect the professional competence of those working in the justice system. Just a thought.
