Una volta entrato, ha prima salutato tutti gli scrutinatori salvo poi accorgersi che aveva dimenticato la tessera elettorale nella giacca fuori dall'urna, dovendo recuperarla per effettuare il voto. Subito dopo aver votato, ha invitando tutti a vedere il suo cane Oscar.

The leader of the Five Star Movement, Giuseppe Conte, went to the polling station on Via Giulia in Rome where he was the protagonist of a small gag with the journalists present before voting on the justice referendum. Once inside, he first greeted all the scrutineers before realizing he had forgotten his voter card in his jacket outside the ballot box, requiring him to retrieve it to cast his vote. Immediately after voting, he invited everyone to see his dog, Oscar.
