I have always enjoyed, but under-utilized libraries, despite my sister having been a librarian. Some of #VT still lacks cell/Internet coverage, plus it's eye-opening how much they've become unsung social support centers, esp. since the pandemic, major floods, and increased cost of living.

It's with a heavy heart that we remember poet, DJ, & jazz scholar #ReubenJackson who passed away recently.

Jackson was the beloved host of "Friday Night Jazz" at #VermontPublicRadio (now #VermontPublic) from 2012 to 2018 with a soothing, deep voice & a great love for poetry & jazz.

Jackson's legacy lives on in the AAPB where >50 hours of his jazz program can be heard through the "Friday Night Jazz" collection: https://americanarchive.org/special_collections/fridaynightjazz
