Venice and the Doge's Palace

After breakfast, we checked out of the Excelsior Hotel Gallia & traveled to Venice. After dropping off our bags at the Hyatt Centric, we took a vaporetto via the east side of Venice & visited the Doge's Palace before walking around.

I found the spot 

Not so lucky with the light, but still amazing place to appreciate the diversity of Italian rolling stock. A #Trenitalia #ETR610 leaves for #Torino while an #italo #AGV arrives in #VeneziaSantaLucia.

The #ETR610 easily looks like an ugly duck, but from this angle it looks...not too bad.
