Scheveningen Beach, 2010. Captured on the wonderful Fuji Velvia 100 slide film with a Zenitar 16mm fisheye lens (it was a phase) mounted on my Canon EOS 50. I had started with Nikon for film, but with so many Canon-head friends, I wanted in on the lens-swapping action. So when I finally got my first DSLR, it was a Canon 30D.
Later, when the opportunity came to pick up a second-hand EOS 50, the ability to swap lenses seamlessly between my SLR, DSLR, and aforementioned friends made it a no-brainer. Plus, it was in mint condition—the film door latch wouldn’t give out for another ten years (while loaded with film, of course). A known issue with this model. 😐
