I have always regarded
Godbluff / Still Life / World Record as a trio

The person who is "Here at the glass" that opens Godbluff is the same person who has his "eyes pressed up tight to the glass" that closes World Record

Hammill was a member of Manchester Scientistoligist. "How can I be free ...."

Look what he bought me

Absolutely stuffed with details about each and every song

After many years of thinking, I believe The Sleepwalkers is #VdGG's finest work.

From what I can work out, the opening section is in 9/16 time !!

But the bit where Hammill smashes in with "At night before you lay down" is very powerful
