After finding #BitWarden doesn't have an "Export Folder" option, I've written some Python to process an unencrypted JSON vault and extract ONE folder to a new file.

This is enough to extract creds to share, without setting up organisations (my experiments hit enterprise-scale sysadmin pain with Folders/Collections!).

No sync, but importing again seems to create a new folder with the same name (so manually sync and delete).

Tested with #BitWarden and #VaultWarden .

Preparing to be ready for #WorldBackupDay with Proxmox Backup Server in my #homelab.

Now my backups of my #Proxmox VM and LXC are encrypted and stored locally on my DS918+. I have a datastore on my remote DS218j using the #pbs sync process.

This part of the 3-2-1 rules :

- 3 copies of your files
- 2 different storage devices
- 1 off-site backup

My #Proxmox encryption key is stored in my #Bitwarden with #Vaultwarden and in the password manager of two friends. You never know 😉

Je vous ai pondu un petit guide pour installer Vaultwarden avec Docker. On va pas juste lancer un conteneur, on va blinder le truc proprement avec du hashage de compet' (Argon2) et un proxy aux petits oignons.

Petit stress avec #vaultwarden aujourd'hui 🥲 : les applis natives #iOS et #Linux ne permettaient plus de se connecter.

Un petit docker pull vaultwarden/server:latest, suivi d'un reboot du container a résolu le problème 👍️

Don't forget to occasionally take secure #backups of your passwords and other stored secrets. I've downloaded my #Vaultwarden vault to an encrypted json file that I can hopefully use to bootstrap a new account in case something happens to my main one.

Any tips or suggestions as to how others securely back theirs up?
