Made a new beat #RandomLoop with the #QueenOfPentacles #Varigate4Plus and the #SynthstromDeluge

When I initially got the Deluge, I was happy to know that *in the future®* I could send gate CV signals to modular equipment. A few months later, here we are: it does work :) I'm sending 4 tracks of gates to the kick, snare, clap and hihat using the Deluge. The master clock comes from the Varigate, which the Deluge follows. The Varigate sends 3 more gate signals for the two other hihats and the cymbal. This is roughly 7 gate tracks, which is exactly how many tracks the Queen of Pentacles can play. I'm tweaking knobs on the Queen of Pentacles while recording. Tempo is 113.761 bpm. Someday I'll do it the other way around, syncing the Varigate instead of using it as clock source.

Have a listen! It's quite a long track because the progression was nice.

Wish you all a very pleasant Sunday!
@scolobb The sequencer, a #Varigate4Plus, has an internal clock which can be adjusted with two sliders: “tempo coarse” and “tempo fine”. I believe it's not quantized to an exact round integer tempo value, or it may be that the “time tuning” of the internal clock is off.

I usually set the tempo to something to a speed I like, record audio out, and then discover the BPM value in Reaper when I'm adjusting the time ruler in the project.
