The formation of worker councils happened outside of the bolshevik revolution afaik but I dont think they were sufficiently organised to counter the threat of bolsheviks and were largely complacent to the central party as long as they would tolerate the worker councils but by the time they no longer tolerated them there was nothing they could do
I know you don't believe in vanguardism or one party rule
As an anarchist I still disagree with syndicalism because its too focused on the worker identity and doesn't seem to say much about externalities like climate change or harm to non-human animals and it seems to center able-bodies neurotypical experience by default
Also the worker council owned factories in the USSR were quickly taken over by the central party which I think speaks to the inherently hierarchical concept of the firm
I do agree that workers shouldn't be coerced to conform to the authority of a planning council but I also think that the fundamental concept of self identifying as being a part of the firm before the commune is irrevocably adversarial

The move reflects a broader strategic vision embracing gender liberation, pluralism, and local democracy ~ Blade Runner ~ The formal announcement of the PKK’s dissolution has sparked mixed reactions among Turkey’s Kurds and international supporters. However, it has been years in the making and comes as no surprise to long-term observers of the Kurdish movement

In Marxist theory, false consciousness is a term describing the ways in which material, ideological, and institutional processes are said to mislead members of the proletariat and other class actors within capitalist societies, concealing the exploitation intrinsic to the social relations between classes. Friedrich Engels used the term "false consciousness" in an 1893 letter to Franz Mehring to address the scenario where a subordinate class willfully embodies the ideology of the ruling class.[1][2][3] Engels dubs this consciousness "false" because the class is asserting itself towards goals that do not benefit it.

Until recently I had never heard of #Vanguardism - I came across that term when I heard about #OrishaLand.
Heres the definition from #400and1 400 s page
https://www.fourhundredandone.com/so/ebNUVWIan#/main :
Vanguardism is a strategy that has been successfully leveraged by revolutionaries, historically. A vanguard party is a collective that is organized hierarchically. Its job is to seize power on behalf of the masses in order to establish a socialist state. (A socialist state is an organized collective that distributes resources equitably and universally.)
