I somehow managed to get myself on the wrong vampire movie, so it took me a while to get tonightβs #monsterdon movie βVampire Circusβ rolling. My review? The first half was pretty good (and surprisingly boobful!) But it lost narrative momentum pretty quickly and eventually turned into a mess of confusing cross lore. There were some good elements β seeing Lalla Ward and David Prowse on screen in early roles was a plus! β but all in all not a great watch. (1/2) #VampireCircus

@YsengrinWolf @littlemiao Yes, and we saw that in Hammer's Dracula films too. It's probably not as good as direct ingestion, but it's about reviving the vampire by letting its body absorb the blood.

while the vampire mythos stuff was kinda random there was some _lack_ of the usual particularly tired tropes and i appreciate that part
