To move away from the corporate "socials" like Insta, Youtube, X/Twitter etc to decentralised social networks - mainly the #Fediverse - the challenges not only include the provisioning of the tech. Indeed, people like @elena do a great job to show how nice the #Fediverse is, and how #selfhosting is fun and doable.

That said, the barriers to entry for people are largely cultural: the decentralised nature makes it hard for people to choose one of the thousands of servers, of Mastodon, PixelFed, etc Starting at https://joinfediverse.wiki isn't an entry point for everyone. (however great resource it is!)

Moving from the corporate socials to the fedi, many people need help. Fortunately collective actions like #MakeSocialsSocialAgain in NL, #SaveSocial and #DIdays in DE, #VamonosJuntas in ES, #LeaveX in FR etc help mobilise people to make the change together. That's necessary to overcome network effects and (re)connect through our networks.

We are initiating this with a growing list of organisations, such as @commonsnetwork, @waag in Amsterdam, @platoniq and the Goteo.org crowdfunding platform in Spain. Recently also eCommons.space and the housing coop movement (PWA) in Amsterdam have joined. With them and Amsterdam University College @OpenTech_AUC (part of UvA and VU) we’re designing a transition community, building on experiences of so many movements going in this same direction, like the @rtm #ResistTechMonopolies in Seattle, or the #VamonosJuntas and #MakeSocialsSocialAgain or #DIDay networked actions.

Vengo con una #propuesta : aquí ya sabemos todas que el Fediverso mola y las redes oligarcofascistas no. Pero la gente normal no lo sabe o no entiende cómo salirse.

Y la propuesta consistiría en mover la información que aquí ya tenemos de forma coordinada hacia fuera. Habría que definir los destinatarios entre todas y crear un argumentario lo más sólido y explícito posible.

Destinatarios posibles:
-Partidos políticos, todos menos Vox. A nivel local, autonómico y estatal.
-Estructura estatal, municipal y autonómica.
-Medios de comunicación no-fascistas.
-Organizaciones tipo cámara de comercio de cada ciudad, asociaciones de autónomos, sindicatos.

Sería como el #vamonosjuntas pero tocando a puertas que ni se plantean estas cosas.

Me gusta el #parkour #FreeRunning y las #ArtesMarciales #DefensaPersonal. A veces patino #skate, paleteo/raqueteo o juego fútbol (mixto) socialmente.

También me gustan los videojuegos de #música como #PumpItUp #PIU, #Ultrastar #karaoke, #TaikoNoTatsujin #taiko, #Rocksmith... Aprendí un poco de piano y canto, pero ppalmente #guitarra.

Estoy probando Qobuz aunque sin una estuctura de gobernanza que me gusta no sé si me voy a quedar.

Una alternativa podría ser quedarme con mis vinilos y radio, aunque acostumbradas a tanta abundancia fácil estas últimas décadas no sé si me va a saber a poco. También estoy empezando a pensar en crear un media center con música en local con un raspberry pi. ¿Cómo estáis razonando en este tema de acceso a cultura musical?
