the second #vhp4safety hackathon day has started. So many improvements :)

nice group of 17 people hacking very hard! tons of improvements already live on https://platform.vhp4safety.nl/ :)

#vhp4safety #hackathon

getting ready for (already) the 7th #VHP4Safety #hackathon!

VHP4Safety is NWO-funded research project, co-creating a virtual human (platform) to host digital twins, to support toxicology research and risk assessment. Why? to replace as much as possible, if not all, animal testing.

And the great thing is, a lot of it actually is #openscience !

VHP4Safety

Ozan Cinar and @Marvin will present tomorrow about the #VHP4Safety solutions for general risk assessment without animal experiments

You can still register: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_Zp2MIuZMRL-HAehsViIokg#/registration

e.g. @Marvin will present his e-poster, titled "Making the AOP-Wiki knowledge graph usable across disciplines in toxicological assessment"

#aopwiki #toxicology #openscience #vhp4safety #EUROTOX2025

did I already share this? my colleague Prof. Chris Evelo is looking for the #VHP4Safety (https://vhp4safety.nl/) project for a postdoc for the vacancy "Model Steward for the VHP4Safety project" https://vacancies.maastrichtuniversity.nl/job/Maastricht-Model-Steward-for-the-VHP4Safety-project/826423002/

"As Model Steward, you will help structure and integrate mathematical models used in toxicology and health risk assessment. These include, for example, models for QSAR, PBPK models, and quantitative AOPs. Your goal is to make these models FAIR."

Redirecting…

The second day of the 4th #VHP4Safety hackathon has started. I am in a team that is trying to create a product that will visualize an AOP and map experimental and computed data on top of that. We're thinking of data from the Human Protein Atlas, QSAR models for MIE-protein binding affinities, and link to molecular pathways from @wikipathways

So, back to hacking!

#openscience #hackathon

we have five problem statements we will work in during this #VHP4Safety #hackathon
@Marvin is now starting a demo of the CAP, central access point #VHP4Safety
