Eigentlich bräuchte der Film angesichts von #Trump ein "Remake". Trotz der visionären Warnung ⚠️ schon 2006 vor dem Faschismus stehen wir jetzt genau davor. Nur leider traut sich jetzt niemand mehr in Hollywood, so regierungskritische Filme zu drehen.

Ich war damals jünger und fand den Film faszinierend. Allerdings sehe ich heute die Folterung mit anderen Augen. Sie hätte daran auch zerbrechen können und in Depressionen enden. Heiligt der Zweck die Mittel? Ist es wichtig gute Ansichten zu haben oder nur, dass am Ende was Gutes dabei rauskommt? Philosophische Fragen, die bei der Aktion und guter Bilder im Film völlig unbeantwortet bleiben. Womit der Film genau das tut, wogegen er sich wendet - er lult uns in Propaganda ein für das vermeintlich Richtige ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste und nur weil zufällig alles gut geht haben wir unsere Heldengeschichte... 😐
