VCF SoCal 2025 Re-Cap
We hope everyone had as much fun at the festival as we did. The hands-on tech that exhibitors brought for attendees to try out, play with, and learn on was amazing! Everywhere you turned something would catch your eye that you just had to check out. One of Steve's favs was the countertop carousel display of Casio watches (I recognized a couple I use to sport. lol -Steve). Additionally, vendors at the fest had some great vintage tech for sale, along with new retro devices for many different platforms. If you needed something, chances are you found it! Year two of VCF SoCal was a success with a 20% increase in exhibitors/vendors, 70% more attendees, and 50% more items re-homed through consignment. Some highlights this year included the VCF SoCal Retro Game Show with audience participation (on their fav mobile devices), a new learn to solder workshop, a much enjoyed lounge area - as well as chill'n in the Aquarius+ Basement, and the ever-popular free tables.
