The World Under.

Time for a vertical version of this panorama. This time I did it without the Mercator projection style (which would make the image more square-ish). I might, though do that later if I get the time to 😬
The vertical rendition done with the spherical projection like in these two makes the image too slender (and often some cropping would be needed to the sides so it turns even slenderer); and sometimes platforms are hostile to such format **COUGH**IG**COUGH** ... ahem.
Anyway, as usual here, the first one was shot at F/8 and the second one was shot at F/2.8.

Back To The Present.

Still with my stroll on December 10th, and again with successive shots (because I couldn't do a longer exposure because I had no tripod on me). I've tried to merge the photos as a stack but the image was "normal" and nothing interesting, so I blended them instead (using Lighten blend mode I think) and voila. You can see here some repetitive patterns from the flares, and I was going to remove them but decided against it; I think they add some sparkle and movement in the upper portion of the image.

На Восток.

Again on the pedestrian bridge, and this time looking east (hence the title). The weather of course wasn't blue like that, but humid a bit and foggy. The scene was shot at f/1.4 (on purpose, I could've used f/8 or higher) but since the objects are mostly away from the lens, things are relatively in good depth of field. The focus was set on the central building in the horizon.
Despite its simplicity, it was quite a struggle to shoot it because of me wearing glasses and polarizing shades (I can't see the LCD with the shades on), and taking off my glasses wasn't an option. So, I consider it a lucky moment to have pinned the focus on that building using the LCD.
I've cropped the image without any regard to any fixed or known aspect ratios, but when I checked the numbers after the crop, it turned out to be close to the Cinemascope ratio (2.35:1, I think mine here is ~2.33:1).
Even though it is generally blue (initiated by the WB in post-process), but a considerable time was spent working on the colors still, along with the highlights and shadows.
